The given key was not present in the dictionary error in CRM

Hello everyone,

If you are facing “The given key was not present in the dictionary” error message while you are developing in CRM this post may help you.

The link above mentions about coding error. What I will tell you about in this post other than coding error is: Your plugin assemblies or custom workflow assemblies may have been registered wrongly.

If you cannot find anything even if while you debugged your code and still facing this issue; you may consider to unregister wrong registered assemblies and re-register them as merged dll (if you want the assembly should be store in database).
